Sport pundits are saying that with last Sunday’s result at Lafia, Lobi Stars have no option than to move all out against Rangers International on Wednesday, 27th November, 2024, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu.
Lobi Stars FC were lucky to escape humiliation in the hands of in-form Kano Pillars in Lafia, Lobi Stars’ home away from home, ending the game at 2-2.
Club’s Media Officer, Uja Emmanuel, says the “midweek encounter promises to be a fiery contest of grit and determination. While Rangers are intent on defending and strengthening their title aspirations, Lobi Stars are equally determined to claw their way to safety.”
He adds that the Yes Father Boys are approaching the match “with a sense of urgency following a spirited yet frustrating 2-2 draw against Kano Pillars in Lafia.”
Sport pundit, George Avese, says the team needs to go all out and utilise every single opportunity and score goals.
“It is going to be a tight race. There may not be too many goals and so Lobi (Stars) should act fast, create chances and score,” Avese warns.
Lobi Stars currently sits 17th on the table, battling to move out of the relegation zone.
