Nigeria Environmental Society (NES), Benue State Chapter, has recognised Prof. Kohol Shadrach Iornem as a key player in the society’s activities in Benue State.
Prof. Iornem is the founder of Menroi, a non-profit organisation committed to development issues and mentorship. He is elated that NSE in Benue State finds him worthy of the honour.
Dr Kashima Tyovenda presented the award on behalf of NES to Prof Kohol, who was represented by Menroi’s Director of Programmes, Miss Sophia Kwaghzan.
Dr Tyovenda, while delivering the letter at the Menroi End-of-Year Get Together, said Prof Kohol has demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to the society’s cause in the state.
“Your commitment has been instrumental in promoting sustainable practices, reducing waste, and conserving natural resources,” Dr. Tyovenda said.
She adds that the commendation reflects Prof Kohol’s “commitment to creating a better environment and fostering development within our communities. It’s a proud moment for Menroi, and we’re inspired to keep making a difference!”
