Benue State Deputy Governor, Dr. Sam Ode, earlier today, Sunday, 29th December, 2024, at Living Faith Church Otukpo, Benue South, celebrated 25th wedding anniversary with his wife, Christie.
The Deputy Governor’s Office says it is a celebration of “years of love and commitment,” adding that it “is a beautiful story of unity, mutual respect, and shared dreams. It is an inspiration to many, showcasing the strength that comes from a loving partnership.”
In celebrating the couple, the office says it particularly celebrates “the unwavering support Mrs. Christie Sam-Ode has shown to the deputy governor, Dr. Sam Ode, as he works alongside the Governor, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, to deliver on their mandate and drive the growth and development of Benue State.
“Her love and encouragement have been a steady source of strength to her husband throughout his journey in public service.”
Dr. Sam Ode, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and member of the Nigeria Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPS), Kuru Jos, was elected Deputy Governor alongside Fr. Alia as Governor in 2023.
