The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Nigeria Police, Benue State Command, Sewuese Anene, was today, Monday, 6th January 2025, decorated to the rank of Chief Superintendant of Police (CSP) from the rank of Superintendant of Police (SP).
She was promoted last year and decorated earlier today by the Commissioner of Police (CP), Benue State Command, CP Steve Yabanet, at the command headquarters in Makurdi, the Benue State capital.
CSP Anene wrote, upon the release of her promotion: “Behold the Federal Chief. It has been pronounced as God Almighty pleases. He qualifies the chosen. Lord, I am grateful.”
She joined the Nigeria Police 13 years ago as a cadet and was first posted to Taraba State.
CSP Anene has been hailed by her colleagues and journalists in Benue State for her prompt responses to calls or chats, ability to return calls, and keeping her word.
