Erstwhile Super Eagles player, Tersoo E Akile, recently earned the UEFA C License.
TNT understands that Akile earned his UEFA C License through the M&N Coaching Education Department under the guidance of Bolarinwa Obalola Kobayashi. He joins former teammates Seyi Ogunsanya and Peter Owubokiri, who earned the same badge.
During his playing days, Akile represented Nigeria at various levels, including the Flying Eagles, Dream Team, and Super Eagles, before moving abroad to play for Rangers FC in Hong Kong and also a stint in China.
He began his professional career with Nigeria’s Wikki Tourists before joining Enugu Rangers and BCC Lions of Gboko. Akile also played for Udoji United from 1994 to 1996.
The former Nigeria’s international star started his coaching career in the United States, working with St. Pius Varsity High School in Houston, Texas, and also managed Albion Soccer Academy.
He holds a Diploma in Coaching Academy Junior Level 1 from the National Soccer Coaches Association of the United States (NSCAA) and a certification from the Nigerian National Institute of Sports (NIS) in Lagos.
