Former Papyrus journalist, Eigbefoh, buries mother March 7

The body of the mother of Mr. Joseph Eigbegoh, former Papyrus journalist, Princess Fatu Favour Eigbeifo, is due for burial on 7th March, 2025, a family statement says.

Princess Fatu passed away on the 9th of February, 2025, leaving behind an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her loved ones, Eigbefoh told TNT.

Born into the royal family of His Royal Majesty Ogiri Oko, Ochi’Idoma I of Benue State in Otukpo on 18th February, 1944, Princess Fatu was a trained nurse.

She worked with Nestle, Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), Our Lady of Apostle Hospital and Orphanage Zawan in Jos before her retirement in 1999.

According to Mr. Eigbegoh, Princess Fatu was “a lover of peace, calm and detribalised,” leaving her “doors open to everybody.”

Princess Fatu will be laid to rest at Adoka, Otukpo LGA, Benue State.
